LightSim Personal Data Processing Policy

1. General Provisions

1.1. This Personal Data Processing Policy (the "Policy") defines the procedure for processing the personal data of users of the LightSim mobile application.

1.2. The personal data controller is Business-Inform LLC (the "Operator").

1.3. The Operator processes personal data in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

2. What Personal Data Is Processed

2.1. The Operator processes the following personal data:

  • email address;
  • name (if provided by the User).

2.2. The Operator does not process:

  • passport data;
  • bank card details;
  • biometric personal data;
  • geolocation data.

3. Categories of Personal Data Subjects

The Operator processes the personal data of:

  • users of the LightSim mobile application;
  • persons contacting customer support.

4. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

Personal data is processed for the purposes of:

  • registering and maintaining the account;
  • providing access to the Application's features;
  • processing and supporting eSIM purchases;
  • communicating with the User;
  • reviewing requests to customer support;
  • complying with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

5. Legal Grounds for Processing

The Operator processes personal data:

  • with the User's consent;
  • to perform the Terms of Service;
  • in other cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

6. Transfer, Storage, and Protection of Personal Data

6.1. The Operator takes the necessary organisational and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, and other unlawful actions.

6.2. The Operator has the right to transfer personal data to persons engaged to support the operation of the Application, process payments, and send notifications, as well as in other cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

6.3. Cross-border transfer of personal data is not carried out.

6.4. Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes specified in this Policy.

6.5. Personal data is stored no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, or for the period established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

7. User Rights

The User has the right to:

  • receive information about the processing of their personal data;
  • request clarification, updating, or correction of their personal data;
  • request the deletion of personal data in cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation;
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data in cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

8. Account Deletion

8.1. The User has the right to delete their account through the Application.

8.2. After submitting a request, the account is placed into deletion mode.

8.3. The User's personal data is deleted after 30 calendar days, except for information the Operator is required to retain in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. The Operator has the right to make amendments to this Policy.

9.2. A new version of the Policy takes effect from the moment it is posted in the Application.
